A Clockwork Orange

"This is a classic movie (for adults only), but I'm not overly impressed with the blu-ray version. I could not clearly tell any difference between my dvd and blu-ray versions like I could with Full Metal Jacket. I'm not sure it was worth spending extra for the blu-ray version."

"What cant one say about this movie.All the cast was brilliant.The shower scene is one of the most famous in history.Good example for a charecter study movie"

"This Blu-Ray DVD of 'A Clockwork Orange' presents the film in its original 1.66 aspect ratio. There are small black vertical bars on the sides of the HDTV screen with its 1.78:1 (AKA 16x9) ratio."

"Finally the Kubrick films get the treatment they deserve. While each of his films is a gem this one stands a notch higher for me. The new DVD and this Blu-ray disc are amazing. The comentary by McDowell is very enlightening and gives intimate insight into the making of this film. All the Kubrick films are finally formatted for HD TVS the way they would have been showed in theaters. Zooming the films on your TV is no longer necessary and the quality is top notch. Many extras make these the best blu-ray films released to date."

A Beautiful Mind

"I was lucky enough to get to see a preview of a beautiful mind. I had read the book and wondered how they were going to make john nash into a sensitive human being. Well, russell crowe deserves not only an oscar, but every other award out there! he is sensitive, cold, passionate, and yes, even lovable as the great mathematician. the rest of the cast is fine, especially the always competent ed harris. I guarantee you will laugh, cry, cringe and shudder, and leave the theatre completely satisfied. If you want more information on nash read the book. there are some real suprises. Ron howard made this a feel good movie about a genius...he's added a little sugar, and in so doing directed a marvelous film. Kudos to all!"
