Biography by collette33 Fabiola Gatti is the frontgirl and songwriter of british band The Fabs.
She was born and grew up in Punta del Este, Uruguay (where she currently spends her summer holidays) and moved to London at the age of 15 to pursue a music career. She started putting a band together in 2003, and after a few demos, the band signed a recording contract and released their first single on 7` vinyl "Surfer Girl" which has become a cult song for surfers and has been featured in surf festivals and events all around the world.
Fabiola is often noted for her cheeky fun attitude towards the press and is also famous for her songwriting skills - not only she writes The Fabs retro-surf songs but also j-pop tunes for her side project The Chi Chis in Japan.
