GUNS N' ROSES frontman AXL ROSE has announced he was not disappointed to see the band's new album CHINESE DEMOCRACY beaten to top spot in the American charts by KANYE WEST.
The rockers' long-awaited new LP entered at number three in the Billboard chart at the beginning of this month (Dec08) with sales of 261,000.
West's new offering, 808s and Heartbreak, stormed into the number one spot, shifting a massive 450,000 copies in its first week of release.
And Rose admits he doesn't mind seeing the band's comeback disc dwarfed by West - because he is a fan of the rapper's work.
